Need Roof Snow Removed - Call Pete Before It Melts

Before removal with 3 ft of snow and ice
After getting it all down, but now have to get rid of that snow
Finally done, the garage says "Thanks"

After watching the snow build up on our roof, then watching roof and after roof of local buildings collapse due to the weight of the snow, I decided that the three feet on our roof should probably be removed. I did what I could but due to the pitch of the roof and the constant dumping of new snow, I found this not to be an easy task. Then I saw a report on TV about a crew that goes to homes to remove snow on roofs. I noticed their technique, but I more interested at the price they were charging; $300 for the small roof they were clearing on TV. So, I’m starting up a new business, roof snow removal. You can see by my pictures of a house I recently worked on above as proof of the quality of my work. I have also devised an easy to follow formula to be used to accurately calculate the cost of each individual job.

A – (area of the roof)
x D – (the depth of the snow)
V – (volume of the snow – and they say we never use math in real life)
x P – (the pitch of the roof)
x 100 – (just because)
- 10s – ($10 for every shingle removed)
+10p – ($10 for every picture taken during the job)
- 5a – ($5 for every adult beverage provided, more if provided during this calculation process)

As an example, if you have a 100 sq/ft roof with 3 feet of snow, a 45 degree pitched roof, three shingles removed, two pictures taken of me on the roof, and two beverages; your total cost would only be $3480, with no extra or hidden charges. Clients in Alabama, Texas, and California are automatically eligible for reduced rates.

Also, I’m in the process of patenting an idea on how I could get a snow blower on the roof. If you want in, let me know immediately.

Spuds will be jealous. He has talked about a roof snow removal business for years. I still think he would eventually fall off and break his neck.
