Just getting started
Paul, one of three immigrants hired in from a small town of Vermont to help out.
One part done, there to go.
Notice the rain diverted over the front door? I think it turned out pretty good, and it works.
Back of the garage
Removing the old roofing
Story behind this photo. Shawn and I drove to Lowes to get another tarp due to a coming storm. We purchased a 20 x 30 and ended up opening it and laying it down just as it began to pour. You can see the new tarp, it's in the back ground, but what you can't see is the 19 ft that is hanging over the side of the house, down to the first floor. Thinking back, we should have bought the 30 x 20 instead, that would have fit over the roof better.
Rolling out the new roof.
Now the sun room.
Looks good.
What a mess, where's the clean up crew?
I don't have a picture of Dad, but he supervised the project and picked some beans.
What you don't see in the pictures is that the first half of the project I had to work around the rain. The second part was a challenge due to the heat.
Now, for the before and after pics.
So, If you'd like a new roof, contact anyone but me. Thanks to Paul, Shawn, and Dad, it's done
