Mini-Extreme Home Improvement Makeover

The Darby's were chosen a few weeks ago for a mini-extreme home improvement makeover, not the whole house but their kitchen. We couldn't send the Darby's to Disney World, this is only a mini version of the other home improvement show, however Bud did go to Lincoln to play cribbage.

Here are some before pictures taken before the demolition team got started on the the work site.







Next, the demo team came in and removed the cabinet doors allowing the inside design crew to get to work.




Meanwhile, the outside paint crew, lead by Evan Irwin, began to prime then paint the doors.









The inside crew is almost done.


Chris is checking out the painting above the stove as Tammy is doing some touch-ups.





With a yell "Move that Trailer", the Darbys were invited back into to see the new and mini-improved kitchen cabinets

Asked a few weeks later how he likes the new kitchen, Bud reportedly said "Even the food taste better".

The demo, paint, designer, and clean up crew of Tammy, Chris, Pete, Chuck, and Evan leave the site await their next assignment.
