Here are the members of Liam's Team. From Left to right is Dad (runner), Liam (team captain), and Papa (biker).
Liam is seen here giving last minute instructions for his team.

Let's meet our competition.

Favored after last year's debatable win is Spuds and Aaron. Here they are sporting their "school bus" attire.

Newbis to this year's race, but they're bound to be tough competitors (you can tell by their professional dress), Lille and Paul.
Once his biker and runner get into their positions, Liam takes his place in the team captain's stroller to give him the best view of his team and to take a nap during the boring parts.
They're off as the race begins.
Liam's Team starts off looking great, as Dad begins the race in a good looking stride.
Team captain, Liam, concentrates on Dad's start. Liam is known not to smile until the race is over or if his belly is full.

Spuds looks confused, he's not sure which direction to run.
After 3.1 miles, here comes Dad. He finished in excellent time, below Liam's prediction, in just under 26 minutes.
Although hard to tell by his facial expressions, Liam is pleased with his Dad's finish.

Finally, almost a minute later, Spuds comes in to the finish.

Not long after, Lille runs to the finish, leaving the rest up to the bikers.
Then it begins, spotted by one of the hundreds of Liam's Team spectators, a banana peal was spotted on the track. Surely this was left by someone for Aaron's team hoping to cause a problem for Liam's Team. The peal was quickly removed.
Just under forty minutes later the many fans are disappointing to see a repeat from last year's race. Aaron is in the lead to finish first, with Papa just seconds behind him.
Papa had the lead for 10.5 miles into the 12 mile race, but had used all of his energy to get to that point, and had very little left when Aaron caught up to him.

A number of seconds later, Paul bikes in to his team's finish.

Here are the three family teams after the race.

This is a pic of Papa congratulating Aaron for a good race.

This is a pic of what Papa would like to have done after it's been found that they cheated again.
Map of bike line

Bikes are supposed to line up in numerical order (low to high). As anyone can tell from this drawing, Aaron placed his bike way closer to the runner's finished then he should have. Our team lost by 14.9 seconds, so Liam had Dad run the course again. When Dad came in to the finish, Liam had the team find the time it took for Dad to run where Aaron's bike was to where it should have been. It took Dad 15. 1 seconds to run the difference, which means if Aaron was in the right position, Liam's team would have won the race by .2 seconds. An official protest has been issued, but we'll probably have to wait until next year to prove that Liam's team is the number one team
Great time was had by all, maybe next year we can get more family teams together.
